Thanks for viewing my website!  I have been teaching private guitar lessons in Rockford for 9 years at Randee’s Music, and, at Music Nation 1, now open for the past year.  I teach all styles but specialize in fingerstyle on acoustic and also classical guitar instruction. I teach bass also.

Lessons times are reserved for once per week and payment is expected for one month of lessons in advance by either cash or check at Randee’s. At Music Nation1 you may also pay for lessons by credit card.

I have a B.A. in Music and have been a choral director for some 20 years. Along with that I  have experience directing  church praise bands and putting musical dramas together.  I was actually a vocal major in college.

My students have ranged in age from 7 years old (I have a lot of patience) to 84 yrs. old, some with handicaps. My teaching is structured so that students learn to read standard music notation first, then branch off into learning TAB later.
